Story
Introducing our "Pacas Blend" green coffee, sourced from the breathtaking landscapes of Santa Barbara Mountain, nestled near the shores of Lake Yojoa, the sole lake in Honduras.
Lake Yojoa, a remarkable natural reservoir with volcanic origins, boasts an extraordinary array of aquatic life and hosts 50% of Honduras' bird species. Its coasts reveal significant archaeological sites, offering glimpses into prehistoric civilizations, all against the backdrop of awe-inspiring panoramic views.
Designated a National Park in 1987, Santa Barbara Mountain stands proudly as the second-highest peak in Honduras, soaring to an altitude of 2774 meters above sea level. Enveloped in an expansive virgin cloudy forest teeming with diverse flora, fauna, and exotic birds such as the Quetzal and Colibrí Esmeralda, the mountain provides an ideal environment for bird-watching enthusiasts.
Our coffee farms are strategically situated between Lake Yojoa and Santa Barbara Mountain, creating a unique microclimate that bestows the coffee plants with exceptional conditions. This special setting contributes to a consistently exquisite cup profile year after year. In this elevated region, renowned Honduran specialty coffees, including Cup of Excellence winners, are meticulously cultivated, ensuring a truly exceptional and unparalleled coffee experience with every sip of our Pacas Blend.
