Story
Exibia hails from a long line of coffee producers, rooted in tradition. Her grandfather dedicated himself to coffee cultivation in another region, and the farm's name pays homage to him. Her father later moved to Las Flores, SB, acquiring a substantial property where Exibia and her siblings learned the nuances of coffee farming. Taking charge of processing coffee in the wet mill and drying coffee parchment became Exibia's routine.
In 2000, Exibia inherited a portion of her father's property. With the assistance of her children and husband, she replanted the farm with Lempira variety coffee, becoming an independent producer of commercial coffee. In 2018, inspired by neighbors, she transitioned to cultivating Parainema coffee, known for its high production and quality. Despite facing challenges during the 2020 harvest due to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, Exibia successfully prepared her first micro-lots of specialty coffee. Encouraged by this achievement, she is now motivated to continue her journey with specialty coffees.
