Story
Introducing our Honduran green coffee, "Ramon Pacas," a testament to the passion and dedication of its namesake, Ramon. Hailing from another coffee-growing region of Honduras, Ramon embarked on his coffee journey in 1982, starting his first farm with inherited land, gaining valuable experience as a producer.
During a trip focused on buying and trading vegetables, Ramon discovered the Santa Barbara region, captivated by its charm. He began frequenting the area, eventually purchasing the property in 1990 with his wife. Swiftly planting Pacas and Bourbon varieties, little did he know that these choices would later be celebrated for their exceptional quality.
While initially selling his crops as commercial coffee, it was in 2010 that Ramon's perspective changed. Encouraged by Arturo, a key figure in San Vicente's special coffee program, Ramon entered a micro-lot in the COE competition, securing the 12th place nationally. Since then, he has committed to preparing all his coffee for the specialty market, proud of his achievements and grateful for the impact of specialty coffee on his journey.
