Story

Madagascar Sambirano Cocoa is a unique variety and considered one of the best in the world, renowned for being extremely rare and grown on small farms. These cocoa beans are grown and harvested in the northwest Sambirano region. This area is characterized by the unexpected number of varieties. Madagascar is also famed for the Trinitario, Criollo, and Forastero cocoa plants which all grow here, defined in the “Fine of Flavor” list by the International Cocoa Organization. Madagascar cocoa has aromatic fruity and citrus flavors that aren’t found in any other type such as notes of pineapple, grapefruit, and cranberry and aromas of cedar orjuniper
